You are invited to showcase your small but mighty artworks!

INTIMATE PIECES is now accepting submissions for our Summer into Fall exhibition; a chance to slow down and connect on an personal level. Artists are encouraged to interpret their own style and medium, including painting, photography, mixed media, and digital art. No explicit sexual, political or religious work accepted.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

• All submissions must go through our website. www.wellingtonartsociety.org

• Image files should be clear, and closely cropped around the artwork, so that no other objects are visible in the image.

• Image files should be at least 72 dpi, and no larger than 5 MB

• Please use the following file naming conventions: “LastName_Title of Artwork.jpg” for example, “DaVinci_Mona Lisa.jpg”

• Selected works will be juried and exhibited at the Wellington Community Center

• Artists will be promoted through our social media and press outreach

  By submitting images, you agree that the images are your own work, that nothing has been copied, that you own all rights to the images, and you take full responsibility for the content of all images. No work created with Artificial Intelligence will be accepted.

  Should your work be accepted, you grant Wellington Art Society the right to reproduce your image on our website, on social media, and where appropriate to help promote our exhibitions.

Submission Guidelines

• Eligibility: Open to WAS member artists of all backgrounds and experience levels

• Entry Fee: $15 for members only

• Membership is $60 per year or $15 if you are a full time student. Visit our Membership page to learn more about becoming a member.

• Mediums Accepted: All 2 D visual art forms

• Number of Submissions: Up to 2 pieces per artist

• Format: Art pieces should be wired, with ends taped, and ready to hang.

• 2 D pieces only, wall pieces no larger than 12” on the longest side.

• NO SAW TOOTH HANGERS.

• Glass is not accepted, use plexiglass. Unframed works must be finished on all sides - no staples showing.

• Work previously displayed in an WAS exhibit in the past 3 years is not eligible for resubmission

• All pieces accepted must be for sale.

• 20 percent of proceeds to benefit the Wellington Art Society. Please price accordingly. (Your contribution will benefit annual Scholarships, Art Education, and our ArtReach programs. Please visit our website for details.)

• No explicit sexual, political work, or work created with Artificial Intelligence. Do not submit work that is not ready to hang. No exceptions.

• Submission: All images to be submitted digitally to www.wellingtonartsociety.org Call to Artist Form on our website only. High-resolution images (JPEG/PNG), with each file named as follows: Artist Name_Artwork Title.

• Artists will receive an acceptance notification via email by midnight on Tuesday, July 28th. This show will be juried by the Wellington Art Society Exhibitions Committee.
