For Artists & Creatives

Who can join the Wellington Art Society?
We welcome regional and local artists of all skill levels and mediums—including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, mixed media, and digital art. We offer general Artist Memberships as well as discounted Student Artist Memberships for creators aged 14 and older.

Where can I exhibit and sell my artwork?
Our members enjoy regular opportunities to exhibit in prominent community galleries, including the Wellington Community Center and Village Hall. We also coordinate exclusive seasonal opportunities, such as solo exhibitions, curated small-works shows, and a dedicated member tent at local art markets.

How do I apply for your upcoming exhibitions?
Active calls for art, submission rules, and key registration links are updated regularly on our official Wellington Art Society Events Page (wellingtonartsociety.org/events).

Can I get public exposure through the Society?
Yes. Our major exhibition receptions feature awards ceremonies, cash prizes, and live public attendance, which help connect our artists directly with local collectors and patrons. We also coordinate event coverage with regional media like The Rickie Report to amplify your visibility.

For Art Lovers, Patrons & Volunteers

I am not an artist. Can I still join the Society?
Absolutely. We are a community-supported organization open to all patrons of the arts. You do not need to create art to enjoy our social meetings, attend artist demonstrations, or advocate for local culture.

When and where are your community meetings held?
We host regular interactive public programming and member meetings at the Wellington Community Center located at 12150 Forest Hill Boulevard. Guests are always welcome to attend, discover our work, and meet our board.

How does my participation help the local community?
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we funnel community support into concrete initiatives. Your involvement funds our seasonal art scholarships, educational workshops, community outreach programs, and public art initiatives.

Are financial contributions tax-deductible?
Yes. Every dollar you contribute through our Wellington Art Society Giving Page (wellingtonartsociety.org/giving-page-2-1) is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of federal law.
