WELLINGTON VILLAGE HALL - SOLO SHOW #5 HEATHER BERGSTROM

Two Betta Fish

Heather Bergstrom has spent a lifetime pursuing and expanding her knowledge and skill as an artist. Her favorite mediums with which to create are graphite, charcoal and acrylic paint. Her vibrant compositions sometimes refer to a historical legend or tell a story all their own. She often chooses to paint or draw poignant scenes which translate to archetypal feelings of contentment, nostalgia, and/or joie de vivre.

Heather’s inspiration comes from childhood memories, nature, history; just about anything that exudes positive emotions, or simply piques one’s curiosity.  Heather says, “I view my art as a joyful respite in the middle of life’s hardships.” She enjoys creating art that tells a story of hope. Heather says, “whether I am working on a charcoal drawing or an acrylic painting, I enjoy watching the very heart and soul of my subject appear before me. I love experiencing the narrative as it changes and deepens every time I create.”

Heather the President of the Wellington Art Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to using art to inspire and serve the community of Palm Beach County. She owns an Etsy Shop featuring her original art as well as a Pixels.com Shop for giclées and other printed goods. Heather also participates in juried fine art shows, exhibitions and galleries every year.
