WELLINGTON VILLAGE HALL - SOLO SHOW #3 CHARLES MOSES - RECEPTION JAN 27, 5-7pm
Canadian Geese
Charles was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and currently resides in Loxahatchee, Florida.
He was educated in the Palm Beach County school system and achieved a degree in Business Administration from Northwood University.
His passion for art started early with a painting for his mom. Encouraged by her, he painted through school, gaining recognition from teachers. His art skills are largely self-taught.
Unable to pursue art full-time, he started his career in IT in 1971, which took him and his family to the northeast. This experience influences his art today, featuring fall landscapes and lighthouses.
After retiring from the corporate world, he focused on art, experimenting with landscapes, seascapes, and portraits. He primarily works with oil on canvas and enjoys having music in the background while creating his art.
Charles is a member of the Wellington Art Society and The Cultural Council of PBC Florida, where he studies and learns new art techniques. He also volunteers with Arts for Smiles to bring joy to kids in Palm Beach County.
He endeavors to integrate the theme of "See the Music" into all his projects.
When not painting, Charles spends time with family and friends and travels as much as possible.

MONTHLY MEETING - FEATURED SPEAKER PALOMA EDEN
“At the core of my artistic expression lies a passion for connection, curiosity, and a hunger to explore human emotions and our existence. Diverse mediums allow me to authentically convey different emotions, messages, and aspects of my creative vision, which seeks to unravel the depths of our emotional landscape and give form to intricate complexities of the human soul. I enjoy creating portraits that reveal subjects in their rawness, to tell stories of triumph, resilience, and the beauty that lies within vulnerability.
Inspired by the vastness and depth of the physical world, my art navigates between realism and abstraction. Galaxies and abstract motifs frequently emerge in my paintings and serve as devotion to the Divine.
Passionate about preserving the art of penmanship, the elegance of calligraphy allows me to connect with others and encourage individuals along their journeys through the beauty of words.
What draws me to create art is the desire to connect deeply with others. I aspire to ignite a spark in others, offering hope and encouragement to pursue their unique passions, dreams, and callings.
Today, as an artist, I am pursuing my dream of devoting myself and becoming fully involvedin art and its community through painting, calligraphy and Flamenco.” Paloma Eden
