Through The Rickie Report, she shines a brilliant spotlight on our visual arts community from Melbourne all the way down to Key West. Rickie does so much more than just publish a free online guide; she lifts up our local talent with beautifully written artist stories, shares essential marketing wisdom, keeps us updated on every major art happening, and acts as our go-to source for juried and non-juried exhibition calls.

Rickie’s absolute passion is helping our local artists, galleries, and art spaces thrive. She is a master at weaving a vibrant web that brings together creators, art lovers, and generous patrons. Whether she is serving as a juror for our exhibitions or offering her invaluable time to mentor both emerging and established voices, her dedication to our community is unmatched. She finds true joy in playing matchmaker for our creative souls—whether that means finding you the perfect mentor, introducing you to our wonderful local art leagues, or helping you take that next big step in your creative journey.

Her unique background as a psychiatric social worker (holding an MSW) gives her a rare, deeply empathetic approach to community building. She is also an incredibly talented creator in her own right, known for her beautiful jewelry and mosaics. Rickie is always learning, always growing, and constantly looking for magical, unexpected ways to connect us all. We are so grateful for her endless advocacy!
