“My themes are not always serious. Some works are whimsical and lighthearted, inviting curiosity or a smile. At its core, however, my art is about storytelling. Each piece holds a moment, a feeling, or an unspoken narrative that continues beyond the canvas.
Currently, my work is complemented by wildlife subjects. Animals allow me to explore emotion in a raw and instinctive way, free from language yet rich with meaning. I am drawn to their expressions, posture, and presence, using them as vessels to reflect human experiences such as vulnerability, strength, connection, and solitude.
It is very important to me that when a painting is completed, it speaks—as if it has its own voice. Whether that voice is gentle or challenging, comforting or unsettling, its purpose is the same: to start a conversation. That conversation may be positive or negative, internal or shared, but it should be real.
If a viewer pauses, feels something unexpected, or walks away thinking differently than before, then the artwork has fulfilled its purpose.”
