Astrid Mora is a West Palm Beach-based visual artist and educator whose work celebrates the vital connection between human nature and the environment
Born in Colombia, Astrid holds a Master’s Degree in Art History from the Basque Country University in Spain and an Academic Excellence Award in Painting from Palm Beach State College. After balancing a vibrant studio practice with her role as an Elementary Art Teacher for the School District of Palm Beach County, she is now retired and devoting her full-time attention to her art.
Working across oils, watercolors, photography, and mixed media, Astrid captures the beauty and vulnerability of Earth's flora and fauna. Driven by her global travels and cultural roots, her art uses rich, voluptuous colors and dynamic figures to explore how the natural world shapes the human mind.
