Canadian Geese
Charles was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and currently resides in Loxahatchee, Florida.
He was educated in the Palm Beach County school system and achieved a degree in Business Administration from Northwood University.
His passion for art started early with a painting for his mom. Encouraged by her, he painted through school, gaining recognition from teachers. His art skills are largely self-taught.
Unable to pursue art full-time, he started his career in IT in 1971, which took him and his family to the northeast. This experience influences his art today, featuring fall landscapes and lighthouses.
After retiring from the corporate world, he focused on art, experimenting with landscapes, seascapes, and portraits. He primarily works with oil on canvas and enjoys having music in the background while creating his art.
Charles is a member of the Wellington Art Society and The Cultural Council of PBC Florida, where he studies and learns new art techniques. He also volunteers with Arts for Smiles to bring joy to kids in Palm Beach County.
He endeavors to integrate the theme of "See the Music" into all his projects.
When not painting, Charles spends time with family and friends and travels as much as possible.
